There are some fluids that are critical to the performance and drivability of your vehicle. You never want your car thirsty because, just like humans, it means it’s already dehydrated. Let’s take a look at the top 5: Oil: This is what lubricates the moving parts of your engine. The best way to check your oil is to take it out for a short drive and then let it cool off for a few minutes. The dipstick for the oil is usually pretty easy to find. When you pull it out, wipe it off and then put it back in the make sure you can get an accurate read. The stick will be marked where the oil should be and if it’s low, you’ll want to add the right oil for your car. Check your owner’s manual to know for sure. If it is low, you’ll want to find out why.
